Liz Lambert, born in Luxembourg in 1993, has a Master’s degree in the study of religion and is a self-taught photo artist who uses the camera to capture and process her sensitive and alert perception of her surroundings.
Her work is characterised by contrasts: between closeness and distance, sharpness and blurriness, reality and abstraction. The images invite the viewer to look carefully, interpret, and empathise. She relies on reduced and often fragmented elements to tell her story with a quiet intensity. You do not only see her images, you feel them and get lost in their own associations.
Liz has been a member of the Luxembourg Streetphoto Collective since 2021. In 2022, she won the Prix d‘encouragement of the Prix de la Photographie – « Clervaux Cité de l’image ». In recent years, she has participated in several group exhibitions in Luxembourg and had solo exhibitions in Vianden (LU) and in St Vith (BE).
In 2024, she was the winner of the CNA X LUGA grant for the realisation of her project “transhumanz”.
